Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his Russian counterpart Andrei Belousov will co-chair the 22nd meeting of the India–Russia Inter-Governmental Commission (IRIGC) on Military and Military Technical Cooperation in New Delhi on December 4, the defence ministry said on Wednesday.
The meeting will take stock of the full range of defence ties, including ongoing projects under military and military-technical cooperation. The two ministers are expected to discuss key regional and global issues where the two countries share strategic interests, the ministry said.
Belousov will also visit the National War Memorial to lay a wreath and pay homage to Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice, the ministry added.
