Sheikh Hasina recalled and appreciated India’s contribution to Bangladesh’s War of Liberation, 1971

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh recalled and appreciated India’s contribution to Bangladesh’s War of Liberation in1971 during her discussions with Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Indian Navy on Tuesday.  

The CNS is on an official visit to Bangladesh; he called on the Prime Minister at her Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban office in Dhaka.

The CNS apprised the Prime Minister regarding the progress of ongoing bilateral maritime engagements between the Indian Navy and the Bangladesh Navy, said the Indian Navy Spokesperson on a social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday morning.
