The summit brought together a dynamic network of Indian diaspora entrepreneurs and investors, fostering collaboration and showcasing solutions to global challenges. Speakers highlighted how India’s demographic dividend and transformative governance are reshaping the nation’s global image.

Sridhar S. Iyengar, CFO( Real Estate & Infrastructure) Mubadala, the UAE’s sovereign wealth fund, in his keynote address drew on the iconic success stories like Airbnb, Iyengar emphasized that entrepreneurship transcends business—it’s a journey of personal branding, professional growth, and daring to turn bold ideas into reality. He remarked that the theme of the event—“From Startup to Scale-up”—perfectly encapsulates the journey of every entrepreneur, describing it as a celebration of three elements: the courage to start, the ability to think differently, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.

He noted how civil services have evolved into a culture of accountability and efficiency, leading to advancements in internal security, trade, and diplomacy.

Cero Hero, a climate-focused platform, provides tools to track, reduce, and offset carbon emissions, aligning with the global push for environmental responsibility. Plus X Electric, founded by Chintan Sareen, is tackling EV range anxiety with innovative portable power solutions.

The company operates 31 charging pods with plans to expand to 150 by 2024, supporting the UAE’s vision of achieving 50% electric and hybrid vehicles by 2050. AUM Venture Capitals, licensed by the Abu Dhabi Global Market, connects Indian tech entrepreneurs with global resources. Their focus spans cutting-edge sectors such as spacetech and healthtech.

The summit also introduced IPF Yuva UAE, a youth-focused initiative designed to create opportunities for Indian students and professionals in the UAE. By offering 13 internships across diverse sectors, the program aims to nurture the next generation of global leaders and innovators.

Iyengar concluded with a message to aspiring entrepreneurs, underscoring the importance of teamwork and persistence. Quoting Steve Jobs, he remarked, “Those crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
