Indian Railways Approves ₹201 Crore Kavach Project for Ambala Division
Indian Railways has approved a ₹201 crore project for the installation of Kavach on the remaining Broad Gauge sections of the Ambala Division of Northern Railway, covering 811 route kilometres across key rail corridors in Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The project has been sanctioned under the umbrella programme for the provision of Kavach with an LTE-based communication backbone on the balance routes of Indian Railways.
