Sarnath joins UNESCO World Heritage List, taking India’s heritage tally to 45
India’s rich cultural heritage has received another global recognition with the inscription of the Ancient Buddhist Site of Sarnath on the UNESCO World Heritage List at the 48th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, South Korea.
