Centre releases Rs 50,571 crore to states under capital investment scheme

The Union government has released Rs 50,571.42 crore to states under its 'Special Assistance for Capital Investment' scheme, aimed at boosting funding for various development projects during the first eight months of the current financial year, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary informed the Lok Sabha.
