Captive, commercial coal mines post 9.6% production growth in July
India's captive and commercial coal mining sector continued its strong growth momentum in July 2026, with coal production rising 9.61 per cent year-on-year to 14.78 million tonnes (MT), according to the Ministry of Coal.
