Cyclon Hamoon crossed Bangladesh coast between Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar at mid-night

The cyclonic storm "Hamoon" over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area moved Northeastward and completed crossing the coast at 01 AM today 25 October 2023 said Bangladesh Met Department Special Bulletin. The Cyclon weakened into a land-deep depression near Chattogram. According to the Met office, the deep depression is likely to move further inland and weaken gradually by giving precipitation.
