DoT cracks down on spam calls, disconnects 1.75 lakh landline numbers
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has disconnected approximately 1.75 lakh Direct Inward Dialing (DID) and landline telephone numbers found to be engaged in unauthorized promotional and illegal activities.
