Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday flagged off a new passenger train connecting Dohrighat and Aunrihar in eastern Uttar Pradesh and announced plans to extend the service to Varanasi, as the government seeks to strengthen rail connectivity in the Purvanchal region.
