Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with his Ethiopian counterpart Abiy Ahmed Ali at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Saturday, on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit. Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates became full members of BRICS in January 2024, while Indonesia joined the grouping in January 2025.
