Global biopharma IPOs surge to $8.52 billion in 2024 amid market rebound

The global biopharmaceutical sector witnessed a sharp rebound in 2024, with initial public offerings (IPOs) rising by 68.4 per cent to reach $8.52 billion, according to a new report by GlobalData.   A total of 50 IPOs were completed during the year, compared to $5.06 billion raised in 2023.
