India’s Haj quota rises to 1.75 lakh in 2025: Minority Affairs Ministry

The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) on Tuesday announced that India’s Haj quota for 2025 has been increased to 1,75,025, as allocated by Saudi Arabian authorities – a significant rise from 1,36,020 in 2014. Jeddah-Makkah high-speed rail debuts for Indian pilgrims

In a historic first, around 32,000 Indian Hajis will travel by high-speed train directly from Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport to the holy city of Makkah this year.
