Assembly by-polls begin in 13 seats across 7 states

Polling for the Assembly by-polls has started for 13 Assembly constituencies across seven states- Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. 40.09 % voter turnout recorded till 1 pm, Himachal Pradesh leads with 48.63 % turnout

The seventh and the final phase of polling for Lok Sabha elections on June 1 across seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh saw a voter turnout of 40.09 % till 1 pm, the Election Commission (ECI) said on Saturday. As per the ECI, Himachal Pradesh recorded a high voter turnout at 48.63% till 1 pm. Himachal Pradesh records highest voter turnout at 31.92 pc till 11 am, Odisha lowest at 22.64 pc

Himachal Pradesh is leading the voter turnout at 31.92 per cent across seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, as per the data provided by the Election Commission.
