Indian women’s hockey team departs for FIH Hockey World Cup 2026

The Indian women's hockey team left for Europe on Wednesday to begin the final leg of its preparations for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026, with two practice matches against Germany lined up before the tournament begins next month. Sjoerd Marijne returns as chief coach of Indian women’s hockey team

Hockey India (HI) has announced the return of Sjoerd Marijne as chief coach of the Indian women’s hockey team.
