India’s mobile exports grow 127%, electronics output jumps sixfold since 2014
India’s electronics manufacturing sector has seen a sixfold rise in production and an eightfold surge in exports over the past 11 years, according to government data presented in Parliament on Wednesday. The production of electronic goods rose from ₹1.9 lakh crore in 2014–15 to ₹11.3 lakh crore in 2024–25. Exports grew from ₹38,000 crore to ₹3.27 lakh crore during the same period.
