Cabinet approves international status for Madurai Airport
The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday approved the declaration of Madurai Airport in Madurai, Tamil Nadu as an international airport. Madurai Airport, one of the oldest airports in the state, serves as a key gateway to southern parts of Tamil Nadu.
