4.4 Magnitude earthquake hits Mugu in Karnali province, following 4.8 quake in Sindhupalchowk

An earthquake occurred in Mugu in Karnali Province this morning. According to the National Earthquake Measuring and Research Centre, an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded in Mugu district at 8:03 this morning. Rain-induced landslides and floods claim 173 lives in Nepal

Transportation at Daunne of Nawalpur in Sudurpashchim of western Nepal has been disrupted due to road subsidence last night. Only one-way traffic is allowed at Daunne section along the East-West Highway to repair the road that caved in. Incessant rain in Kathmandu floods river, many area in the valley waterlogged

The flood occurred in different rivers in the Kathmandu Valley following heavy rain for the whole of Tuesday night, which has affected normal life in Kathmandu Valley.
