Lok Sabha to take up Bankers’ Books Evidence Bill, Taxation Amendment Bill today
The Lok Sabha is scheduled to take up two key financial legislations on Wednesday as part of the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament. The House will consider and seek to pass the Bankers’ Books Evidence Bill, 2026 and the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026, while also taking up a statutory resolution concerning the Income-tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026.
