India launches First Maritime NBFC — Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited (SMFCL)
In a significant development for India’s maritime sector, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday inaugurated the country’s first dedicated Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) for the maritime sector — Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited (SMFCL).
