India and Namibia have agreed to deepen trade and economic cooperation, with bilateral merchandise trade rising to USD 592.94 million in 2025-26, from USD 568.40 million in the previous financial year. Namibian court declares laws banning gay sex unconstitutional

A high court in Namibia declared two colonial-era laws that criminalised same-sex acts between men unconstitutional on Friday, in a landmark win for the LGBTQ community in the southern African country.
