Government notifies social security boards for unorganised, gig and platform workers
The Ministry of Labour and Employment has notified the constitution of National Social Security Boards for unorganised workers and gig and platform workers under the Code on Social Security, bringing these categories of workers within a statutory framework for welfare planning and monitoring.
