NIA arrests 210 accused, delivers record 100 per cent conviction rate in 2024

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday said that it achieved a record 100 percent conviction rate in 2024 following the arrest of 210 individuals. The NIA apprehended 27 absconding criminals during the year and registered 80 cases in total, targeting various offences such as Left Wing Extremism (LWE), North East insurgency, and terrorism.
