India has one of the lowest fuel prices: Petroleum Minister Puri

India enjoys some of the lowest fuel prices in the world, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, said on Monday. Replying to a question in Parliament, Puri highlighted that India is the only country where fuel prices have decreased over the past 2.5 to 3 years. Puri attributed this to the deregulation of petrol and diesel prices, which occurred in 2010 and 2014.
