Shekha Jheel declared India’s 99th Ramsar site, UP’s tally rises to 12
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Tuesday said that the Shekha Jheel Bird Sanctuary has been designated as a Ramsar site, taking India’s total number of internationally recognised wetlands to 99.
