Flydubai co-pilot attempted terrorist act, reveals UAE investigation
The UAE Attorney-General, Counsellor Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, has said investigations into the flydubai flight FZ1073 incident found that the co-pilot attempted to carry out a terrorist act. Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted Al Shamsi saying the co-pilot began executing his plan during the flight by attacking the captain inside the flight deck with a crash axe and attempting to take control of the aircraft.
