Coal Ministry earns Rs 61.41 crore from scrap disposal under Special Campaign 6

The Ministry of Coal and its public sector enterprises generated Rs 61.41 crore through scrap disposal under Special Campaign 6, exceeding targets for site cleaning, space clearance and disposal of discarded materials. The Ministry said on Wednesday that a total of 17,686 metric tonnes of scrap was disposed of against a target of 10,909 metric tonnes, achieving 162 per cent of the target.
