Govt appoints Shashi Shekhar Vempati as CBFC chairperson for three years
The Centre on Wednesday appointed Shashi Shekhar Vempati as the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification for a period of three years. The appointment was notified by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday. Vempati will assume office for a three-year term from the date of joining.
