India allows onion export to Sri Lanka, gives additional quota to UAE

India has allowed limited shipments of onions to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sri Lanka, after banning its export in response to rising prices. Indian fishermen repatriated from Sri Lanka, reach Chennai

Nineteen fishermen from Tamil Nadu, who were detained by the Sri Lankan Navy for crossing into Sri Lankan waters, have safely returned to Chennai.
