Centre announces Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for kin of deceased in West Bengal train collision

The Central government has announced an enhanced ex-gratia compensation for victims in the train mishap in West Bengal's Darjeeling involving the Kanchenjunga Express passenger train and a goods train in which at least eight people were killed and over 20 people sustained injuries.
