India provides humanitarian aid to Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
India has extended humanitarian assistance to Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe to help mitigate food shortages caused by severe droughts linked to the El Niño phenomenon. The relief effort includes shipments of food grains from Nhava Sheva port. India dispatched 1,000 metric tons (MT) of rice to Malawi, 1,300 MT of maize to Zambia, and 1,000 MT of rice to Zimbabwe.
