The Tech Leaders Forum of India (TELFI) was officially launched today at the World Education Conference 2024, hosted by the Federation of Economic Development Association (FEDA) at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University in Dubai.
TELFI, a new initiative aimed at empowering engineers, was unveiled as a key highlight of the conference. The forum is designed to support engineers through various professional activities, including webinars, workshops, and training sessions. Its primary goal is to provide engineers with the resources, knowledge, and network needed to excel in their careers and drive technological advancements both in India and internationally.
Dr. E. Syed Mohamed, President of TELFI, India, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “TELFI represents a significant step forward in nurturing India’s engineering talent. We aim to create a vibrant ecosystem that fosters innovation and professional growth.”
The launch of TELFI took place against the backdrop of the larger World Education Conference 2024, which saw participation from over 150 attendees representing diverse academic fields. The conference, organized by FEDA, a membership-based organization dedicated to promoting economic growth in India, served as a platform for showcasing academic excellence and fostering the exchange of ideas.
Distinguished guests at the event included Laila Rahhal El Atfani, President & Founder of Business Gate, and Bhupesh Nagarajan, Co-Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), among others. The FEDA Appreciation Awards 2024 honored exceptional educators and advocates, while honorary doctorates were awarded to distinguished individuals in education. The event also featured an Education Consultant & Academic Meet for industry experts to discuss challenges and opportunities, as well as a session on educational opportunities in Dubai, providing attendees with comprehensive insights into the region’s academic landscape.
