Several flights and trains were delayed in the national capital on Friday due to foggy weather conditions.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 8.9°C at Palam and 9.8°C at Safdarjung, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Meanwhile, the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 207, categorized as ‘poor,’ as per the Central Pollution Control Board.
The IMD also reported foggy conditions across northeast Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, north coastal Odisha, and parts of Northeast India.
Cities like Varanasi and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh were blanketed by fog, with minimum temperatures recorded at 10°C. Clear skies are expected in Varanasi later in the day.
