UAE Minister leads Indian Consulate’s Community Run under Dubai Fitness Challenge

UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri led a 5 km community run organised by the Consulate General of India in Dubai, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, as part of the Dubai 30×30 Fitness Challenge.

The annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, launched in 2017, encourages residents and visitors to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 consecutive days. The month-long initiative brings together communities through a range of fitness activities and events across the city, promoting healthier and more active lifestyles.

Consul General of India Dr E Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, along with more than 60 prominent Indian business leaders and entrepreneurs from the Indian Business and Professionals Council, UAE-India Business Council and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), with diverse backgrounds and ages also participated in the run at Kite Beach, Jumeirah, on November 6.

The Community Run reflects the spirit of inclusiveness of the Fitness Challenge and strong people-to-people India-UAE ties.
