Veteran Indian designer Rohit Bal closes fashion week with grand showcase in New Delhi

Indian actresses Ananya Panday, Sushmita Sen and Shraddha Kapoor turned heads as they walked the ramp on the final day of Lakme Fashion Week on Sunday (October 13) in New Delhi.

Panday stunned audiences in a resplendent, embroidered black velvet ‘lehenga’ Indian skirt with blouse and a short cape with floral motif as she turned showstopper for the fashion week’s grand finale act put on by veteran designer Rohit Bal.

Bal, famous for his artistic expression and bold designs, showcased his latest collection which is a “poetic ode to nature, beauty, and the art of transformation,” according to the fashion week organisers.

Meanwhile, Indian actresses Sushmita Sen and Shraddha Kapoor walked for debutant designer Rashi Kapoor and Kalki fashion respectively, making the final day of the week a star-studded affair.

Lakme Fashion Week was held in the Indian capital from Oct. 09 to 13.
