The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 kicked off at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday, with a mission to encourage youth participation in nation-building.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya took to X to inform that the event will facilitate bright and talented youths from across the nation to present their visionary ideas for a Viksit Bharat to PM Modi.

Organized by the Department of Youth Affairs under the leadership of Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the three-day event provides a platform for young leaders to showcase innovative solutions and engage with policymakers, national icons, and global influencers.

This reimagined National Youth Festival is designed to empower young minds to contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

The 3,000 participants selected for the event include 1,500 from the Viksit Bharat Track, representing the top 500 teams from State Championships, 1,000 from the Traditional Track, chosen through state-level youth festivals and cultural programs, and 500 Pathbreakers, invited for their ground-breaking contributions across ten thematic tracks.

Event Highlights:

The dialogue kicked off with presentations focused on key themes such as “Tech for Viksit Bharat” and “Empowering Women.” Participants also engaged in creative competitions like painting, storytelling, music, and dance, setting a vibrant tone. Excursions to landmarks such as the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya enriched participants’ understanding of India’s history.

On Saturday, the event will feature an inaugural session led by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Khadse.

Plenary sessions will highlight insights from prominent figures like Anand Mahindra and Jonty Rhodes, while thematic discussions with experts such as S. Somnath, Amitabh Kant, and Sachin Bansal will explore critical issues of national importance.

The day will conclude with “Colours of Viksit Bharat,” a cultural celebration showcasing India’s diversity.

The dialog will conclude on January 12, celebrated as National Youth Day to honour the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. It will prove to be a defining moment for every participant.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a Coffee Table Book featuring the top essays from the event and unveil a Youth Anthem designed to inspire unity and action among India’s young leaders.

A Grand Plenary Session with the Prime Minister will conclude the dialogue, motivating participants to contribute to the realization of a Viksit Bharat.
