WaveX opens startup booth registrations for WAVES Bazaar at IFFI Goa 2025

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Thursday announced the opening of booth registrations for WaveX booths, the exclusive startup showcase zone at WAVES Bazaar, which will be held during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025 in Goa from November 20 to 24.

The WAVES Bazaar powered by WaveX aims to spotlight emerging startups in the AVGC-XR sector – Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality – alongside innovations in entertainment technology. The initiative will connect young entrepreneurs with global investors, studio executives, and creative professionals attending IFFI, one of Asia’s most prominent film festivals.

Located near Film Bazaar, IFFI’s central networking hub that attracts participation from filmmakers, producers, and media professionals worldwide, WAVES Bazaar will serve as a platform for collaboration and visibility within the international creative ecosystem.

Each startup booth is being offered at a nominal cost of ₹30,000 on a shared basis. Participants will receive two delegate passes, lunch and high tea, and access to exclusive evening networking sessions, ensuring direct exposure to the global film, media, and technology community.

Startups interested in showcasing their products or services can register through the official portal at wavex.wavesbazaar.com. As space is limited, stalls will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Queries may be addressed to wavex-mib[at]gov[dot]in.

The International Film Festival of India, founded in 1952, is among Asia’s most celebrated film events, serving as a hub for cinematic excellence and cross-cultural exchange. Its 56th edition, scheduled from November 20 to 28, 2025, will be held in Panaji, Goa.

WaveX, a national startup accelerator and incubation initiative by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is focused on nurturing innovation in India’s AVGC-XR and media-tech ecosystem. Through strategic collaborations with academic, industrial, and incubation networks, WaveX supports startups and creators to scale globally, contributing to India’s rapidly expanding creative economy.
