Commercial LPG cylinder prices slashed by Rs 39.50 in New Year relief

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have slashed the prices of 19 kg LPG cylinders by Rs 39.50 across major metropolitan cities, bringing a potential sigh of relief for commercial users such as hotels and restaurants.

The revised rates came into effect on Friday. Following the price cut, the retail sales price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1757.50.

It’s important to note that while rates for commercial cylinders have been revised, the prices for domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged. Typically, monthly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders occur on the first day of each month.

The new prices for the 19 kg commercial cylinder are as follows: Rs 1757.50 in Delhi, Rs 1868.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1710 in Mumbai, and Rs 1929 in Chennai.

State-owned oil firms last hiked the price of commercial LPG by ₹21 on December 1.
