Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Monday and address the gathering, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.
The four-day summit, scheduled from November 2 to 5, will bring together policymakers, investors, financial institutions and industry leaders from across the world to promote investment, innovation and international partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
The summit, themed “Invest. Innovate. Inspire.”, is expected to attract participants from more than 130 countries, including over 40 ministers, according to the PMO.
Nine countries and regional groupings — Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom — will participate as Country Partners.
Thirteen states, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, will showcase their renewable energy potential, investment opportunities and manufacturing capabilities.
The summit will be held alongside the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), bringing together three major global clean energy platforms.
While Bharat RE 2026 will focus on investment, industry engagement and technology partnerships, the ISA Assembly will seek to strengthen international cooperation in solar energy, particularly in financing and institutional capacity-building.
The International Conference on Green Hydrogen will focus on technological advancements, investment opportunities and the large-scale deployment of green hydrogen solutions.
According to the PMO, the three platforms are expected to strengthen global cooperation and accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies.
Building on the legacy of RE-INVEST, India’s flagship renewable energy investment summit, Bharat RE 2026 aims to expand international engagement and facilitate partnerships across the clean energy sector.
The event will feature plenary sessions, ministerial discussions, CEO roundtables and dedicated country and state sessions. It will also facilitate business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G) and government-to-government (G2G) interactions to encourage investment, partnerships and project development.
The accompanying exhibition will feature more than 400 exhibitors showcasing advanced technologies, India’s manufacturing capabilities and innovative clean energy solutions.
The exhibits will cover key sectors, including solar and wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage and other emerging renewable energy technologies.
