Dubai: Global Village Launches Landmark 30th Season

Global Village, Dubai’s flagship multicultural entertainment destination, opened its milestone 30th season with a vibrant celebration that lit up the night sky with performances and fireworks, welcoming guests to what it calls “A More Wonderful World.”

The season’s grand opening was marked by a colorful Parade of the World, featuring the ‘Retumbar’ street drummers and representatives from all 30 pavilions, who greeted the first visitors amid showers of confetti and streamers. The venue came alive with music, lights, and cultural displays, setting the tone for an extended season of festivities running until May 10, 2026.

This year’s edition features 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, more than 3,500 shopping outlets, and over 250 dining experiences from across the globe. Visitors can enjoy 15 new attractions, including upgraded rides and enhanced entertainment zones. The season will also present 40,500 performances by 450 international artists, alongside over 200 rides, games, and experiences. Fireworks displays will illuminate the skies every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM throughout the season. Part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, Global Village has welcomed more than 100 million visitors since its inception in 1997. The previous season drew a record 10.5 million guests, underscoring its enduring popularity as one of Dubai’s most cherished destinations.
