EAM Jaishankar embarks on diplomatic mission to Iran

External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, is set to visit Iran on January 14-15 to bolster the diplomatic ties. This visit is part of the ongoing high-level exchanges between the two nations.

During his visit, Dr. Jaishankar will engage in crucial discussions with his Iranian counterpart, Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. The agenda spans a spectrum of topics, including bilateral cooperation, regional dynamics, and global issues of mutual concern.

Among the key areas of focus are political collaboration, connectivity initiatives, and the cultivation of robust people-to-people ties. The meeting aims to further solidify the diplomatic relationship between India and Iran, with an emphasis on shared interests and cooperative endeavors.
