Global Media Congress 2024 launches with spectacular opening in Abu Dhabi

A dazzling opening ceremony marked the commencement of the third Global Media Congress on Tuesday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, bringing together international media leaders, experts, and innovators for a three-day exploration of industry trends and opportunities.

Organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates News Agency and the Government of the UAE, the congress operates under the theme “Shaping Future Media” and aims to create a roadmap for innovative media content that aligns with the UAE’s vision of a diverse and sustainable media economy.

The event features an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions from established international brands and emerging startups. This year’s congress places a key focus on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the news industry, alongside discussions about evolving business models and the importance of diversity and inclusion in media production.

Training workshops are a key part of the congress, providing participants with opportunities to develop skills and adapt to emerging challenges in the media landscape. Industry leaders will share insights on modern technologies and strategies for shaping the future of media, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence applications.
