Goal is to make India a developed country in next 25 years,” PM Modi at Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Addressing the global audience, PM Modi emphasized the significance of this edition being the first Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in the Amrit Kaal, marking a pivotal moment in India's growth trajectory. He expressed gratitude to the participating nations for their partnership in India's development.

Looking ahead, PM Modi laid out India's aspirations for the next 25 years, defining this period as the nation's Amrit Kaal. He highlighted the structural reforms undertaken in the past decade as the driving force behind India's resilient economic growth, even amidst global challenges.

“In times like these, if the Indian economy is displaying such resistance, if the growth in India is showing such momentum, a big reason behind this is our focus on structural reforms in the last 10 years. These reforms have enhanced the capacity, capability, and competitiveness of India's economy,” stated PM Modi.

Noting India's economic ascent, PM Modi pointed out that the country has climbed to the fifth position globally, a significant improvement from the 11th position a decade ago. He expressed confidence that, according to major agencies, India is poised to become one of the top three economies in the world in the coming years.

As the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit unfolds, ambassadors, high commissioners, and distinguished foreign dignitaries are set to contribute to the diplomatic and influential atmosphere of the event. The summit serves as a crucial platform for discussions on economic development, business opportunities, and investment prospects.

The event's unique format encourages networking, dialogue, and exploration of potential collaborations between Gujarat and nations worldwide. It covers a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, technology, innovation, and sustainable development, providing an opportunity for global leaders to engage in constructive dialogues that will shape the future of Gujarat's economic prosperity.
