Incessant Rain Disrupts Kathmandu Flights, Dark Clouds to Persist Over Nepal

Incessant rainfall across the country from Monday night has affected flights. According to Tribhuvan International Airport Office, both flights—domestic and international from TIA have been disrupted due to poor visibility following incessant rainfall.

Generally, it continues to be cloudy throughout Nepal today. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast heavy to extremely heavy rainfall today and tomorrow. It incessantly rained from yesterday evening till today morning in Kathmandu Valley. Tonight light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in many places of all provinces. There are chances of heavy to very heavy rainfall in a few places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province.
