IND vs SA: India look to level series against South Africa in 3rd T20I

India will take on South Africa in the third and final T20I today at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

The weather forecast for Johannesburg suggests possible disruptions due to rain. While there is no chance of rain throughout the day, it is expected to pour between 9 pm to 11 pm IST.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India outfit will look to level the series with a win against a high flying South African team. With the 1st T20I getting washed out and the second one won by the Proteas, India will hope to take something away from the T20 series before they turn their attention towards the ODI and Test series.

This T20 series against South Africa and the 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan in January are the only international matches that India have on their hands before the T20 World Cup next year at the USA and West Indies.

With four matches at their disposal to refine their T20 setup ahead of this prestigious tournament, India will look for favourable results in the remaining matches.

The match is scheduled to commence at 8:30 pm IST, with the toss set for 8 pm.

South Africa’s Squad: Reeza Hendricks, Matthew Breetzke, Tristan Stubbs, Aiden Markram (c), Heinrich Klaasen (w), David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Keshav Maharaj, Gerald Coetzee, Nandre Burger, Tabraiz Shamsi, Ottniel Baartman, Marco Jansen, Donovan Ferreira, Lizaad Williams

India’s Squad: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (w), Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Kishan, Mukesh Kumar, Washington Sundar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Kuldeep Yadav
