India-UAE to deepen cooperation in energy, technology, investment and trade: Ambassador Deepak Mittal

Speaking to Akashvani after PM Narendra Modi’s UAE visit, Ambassador Deepak Mittal said India and the UAE have taken major strategic decisions to deepen cooperation in energy, technology, investment and trade.

Key outcomes include the expansion of strategic petroleum reserves, new & LPG storage partnerships, long-term LNG supply arrangements, an 8-exaflop AI supercomputing facility powered by Cerebras chips, and a ship repair cluster at Vadinar under the Make in India initiative.

The UAE also announced $5 billion in investments across Indian infrastructure, banking and finance sectors. Ambassador Mittal expressed confidence that bilateral trade will cross the $200 billion target well before 2032.
