Low pressure may intensify into cyclonic storm over Bay of Bengal:BMD

The low pressure over the Andaman sea and adjoining area moved west-northwestwards and intensified into a well-marked low pressure and now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea, said a BMD bulletin on Wednesday morning.

According to the forecast, it is likely to intensify further. The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over Bangladesh from Wednesday to Friday, said the forecast.
