Night bus service halted in 34 districts of Nepal given a forecast of heavy rain till Wednesday

All night bus services in Nepal are halted in 34 districts for two days. Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has advised halting the night bus service for two days as heavy rainfall is forecast for August 6 and August 7.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in many places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places in Madhesh province.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
