PM Modi extends birthday greetings to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Birthday wishes to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Didi. I pray for her good health and long life.”

As per official records, Banerjee was born on January 5, 1955, and she turned 71 on Monday.

Banerjee became the first woman to serve as Chief Minister of West Bengal in 2011, ending the 34-year-long Left Front rule in the state.
