PM Modi shares PV Sindhu’s article on expanding opportunities for Indians

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared an article by ace badminton player P. V. Sindhu reflecting on the expansion of opportunities for a new generation of Indians to pursue and realise their ambitions.

A post shared by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on X said, “India has never lacked talent. What was often missing were opportunities and pathways to realise big dreams. In her insightful piece, PV Sindhu reflects on how the last 12 years have changed this, enabling a new generation of Indians not just to dream big, but to turn those dreams into reality.”

Sindhu said she had witnessed changes in Indian sport that she could hardly have imagined while growing up. She credited increased support and opportunities with helping athletes and people across fields develop the confidence to compete at the highest levels.

In her birthday message, Sindhu wished PM Modi good health, happiness and many more years of service to the country and its people. She thanked him for making people feel that their dreams mattered.
